2010 In Review -- With Pictures!

Wow!  2010 has been a fun year!  Lots of new things have happened this year, and I must say that in some ways I am sad to see 2010 go.  I am sure 2011 will bring just as many fun, exciting, wonderful moments, so I'm looking forward to all the things that are to come.  However, before I ring in 2011, I must do one last summary of 2010.  So, without further ado, here is 2010 from my eyes!  A year of pictures:

Winter 2010 was a busy, busy time:
I rang in the New Year with a party at this girl's house!
I headed to Gatlinburg with my beau for a last minute getaway!
I played in the snow and went sledding a few times!
I took an Indian Cooking Class with Patrick!
I spent a special Valentine's Day with my beau going zip lining...
...and hiking!
Finally, spring hit and that meant it was time for life to get fun!!!!!
I went roller skating for the first time in YEARS!
I had Easter dinner with Kat, Mickey, Patrick and Kat's family!
I celebrated the end of tax season by heading to Drag Queen Bingo with the girls!  (Notice the Drag Queen is the one in the back!) =)
After 4/15, Patrick and I took a wonderful Cruise where we did all of the following:
Relaxed on the Lido deck!

Soaked up some rays!

Went Parasailing!

Dressed up for dinner!

Shopped in all the cheesy beach stores!

Played on the beach!

Made TONS of new friends!

Danced the night away!

Went snorkeling!

Had fun with the wait staff!
Spent some awesome quality time together!
Not long after returning home, a very life-changing event happened in Nashville:
The weekend of May 2 brought more rain to Middle Tennessee than this area had ever seen...
Soooooo many people either had damage to or lost their homes...
Because my office was closed for most of the week, Patrick and I decided to volunteer to help flood victims.
Here we are with Peggy, a 90 year old woman who stayed in her home during the flood, but eventually had to leave her home for good.
As things started being cleaned up from the floods, everyone's lives started getting back to normal.  Here is what the rest of May brought:
Steeplechase 2010 did not disappoint with tons of fun and crazy good times!

I even got to meet Jevon Kearse (a former TN Titans player)!
My mother got to celebrate Mother's Day with all of her children!
I turned 30!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My beau surprised me with a day of horseback riding!

We had a great time despite the rain!
I went to Sips 'n Strokes with Amber and Sandy!

I got to watch as Baby Hannah was Christened.
Next came summertime, which always brings tons of excitement and interesting events!
Taste of Nashville was fun as usual!

The Nashville Junior Chamber Gala was a fun time spent with fun people!
In July, Patrick and I decided to take a weekend trip to St. Louis!  We had a great time!  If you don't believe me take a look:
We went to a July 4th parade!

We toured Anheuser-Busch

We took in a Cardinals game!

We baked in the hot sun!

We went to the top of the Gateway Arch!

We visited the St. Louis Zoo!
The rest of summer was just as good as the first half:
Ginger and I threw Andi a super fun Bachelorette Party!

I went to another fun Music City Brewer's Festival!

I stood by Andi as she said "I do" to Rob!

And I got to spend some fun times with my beau before he headed to South Africa!
Next thing you know, it was already Fall!  I feel like this fall was one of my busiest to date!
I hiked at Radnor Lake!

I tailgated for a Vandy game with some Junior Chamber friends!

I celebrated Kat's birthday with all of our friends!

Patrick and I made sushi with some friends!
Finally, it was time for the weekend I had been looking forward to for MONTHS!  Our trip to LAS VEGAS!!!!!
We had a great time, and spent lots of time gambling...

...taking in the scenery...

...monkeying around...

...checking out the view from the Eiffel Tower...

...hanging out with Elvis...

...and checking out excellent shows!
After we came back, I thought things might slow down...boy was I wrong!  The rest of fall included all of the following:
Making a fun trip to Arrington Vineyards!

Celebrating Alysia's Birthday!

Tailgating with friends!

Watching the Vols take on Alabama!

Celebrating my mom's 60th birthday!!!!!
Hosting a yard sale with Patrick and friends!
Finding our inner Jon and Kate Plus 8!
Having lunch at Loveless Cafe!

Taking a drive on the Natchez Trace Parkway!

Completing my first Half Marathon with my mom!
Finally, winter has arrived!  It has already been one of the worst winter's Nashville has seen in awhile, but that didn't stop me from taking it all in!
I bought and decorated a new Christmas tree!

I had a great time at a cabin in Gatlinburg!

I went to my first Tacky Christmas Sweater Party!

I took my brother to the Titans/Colts game!

I met Baby Abby!

I celebrated Christmas with my favorite person!

I had lots of wonderful family time!

And finally...I watched the Vols in the Music City Bowl!
Yes, 2010 was definitely a great year!  Like I said, I think 2011 will be hard to top, but I think I can do it!  =)  Stay tuned...I'm sure it will be a fun ride!

P.S.  Sorry for the poor picture quality...with my laptop out of commission, I had to pull all these pics off Facebook!  =(

It looks like you had a great year. Your Halloween costume cracked me up! I can tell you did a lot of fun vacations. Isn't a cruise the best thing ever?
