So, I have't done a random post in awhile, so I thought I'd take a minute to bring you all up to speed on some things:
1. We finally got to meet Baby Abby last week. We were out of town when Amber and Clay were in the hospital, so we just made a trip out to their house to check her out. I have to say...she is definitely adorable...and sweet...and pretty. She was asleep most of the time we were there, but that was okay with me because that meant I got to hold her the entire time. =) Here are a few pics of the beautiful little girl:
2. Has anyone seen these Meal Planners from the Real Simple magazine? These fabulous organization tools are featured in this month's issue and I can't wait to start using them! The OCD/Organization Freak in me is so excited I can't stand it!
3. I hope I'm not the only one, but I sometimes feel like I'm never going to finish my Christmas shopping...and don't even get me started on wrapping...I haven't even started THAT!!!! Needless to say, I'm a little stressed...hopefully, I can get it all done this weekend and relax for the last week before Christmas!
4. I think I've mentioned before that I'm training to run in my first 5K on New Year's Day...I'm not going to lie...I'm getting very nervous about this. I really want to do this SOOOOOOO bad, but I am seriously having a hard time getting all of my training runs in because of the weather and the fact that the sun doesn't come up until after it's time for me to get ready for work and it goes down before I leave for work. I am still doing all of my runs, but I'm having to do most of them on a treadmill, which I have learned is NO WHERE NEAR the same as running outside...especially in the cold! Anyway, I'm trying to stay optimistic, but any quick prayers you want to send my way would be much appreciated! I'm definitely doing this...I just want to be able to actually RUN the whole thing!!!!!
That's all from me for the evening...have a great night!

Yay for Baby Abby!!
A tip for your 5K that helped me; do your weekday runs on the treadmill, but do your weekend run(s) outside...close to the race start time. Then your body will get used to what it feels like to run then and you'll still get your outdoor runs in :)
