As you probably know by now, I am training to walk in a half marathon in November. Since Patrick decided to walk with me on Sunday, he suggested that we head over to
Radnor Lake to change things up a little bit. I was more than happy because I have to admit that walking around my neighborhood is getting a little old. Radnor Lake is a very cool park in the center of Nashville, TN. It's so strange because while you are in this park you feel like you are in the mountains far away from any city or anything for that matter, besides nature. However, you are literally 15 minutes away from downtown Nashville, and less than 10 minutes from my house! It's a great park, and I really wish I could make the time to head out there more often. Here are a few pics of the day:

We decided to hike the South Lake Trail! |

Please excuse the way that I look in this picture...for some reason, it never dawned on me that I might be having my picture made and that maybe I shouldn't look like I am working out! =) |

We saw several deer while hiking, but this one was by far the most interesting...It (along with a baby deer) was literally hanging out 10 feet from Patrick's car!!!!! |
