2011 in Review -- Part II!

So, before 2012 is no longer a "new year," I thought I'd wrap up my Year in Review from last week.

July was an EXTREMELY busy month (and is quickly beginning to be one of my favorite months of the year). July 4th weekend was full of fun:

I went tubing with my beau (and he did NOT understand that the tube should not be rocked)!

We also went to the Cold Play concert...

And watched Fireworks with friends atop Love Circle!

The very next weekend, we celebrated Kat and Mickey's wedding:

with a Bridesmaids' Luncheon...

their Rehearsal Dinner...

and LOTS of dancing at their wedding reception...

The rest of the July and August was also full of fun:

I got to see Stacy, one of my Junior Chamber favorites, get married!!!!!

I went ziplining with Patrick, Alysia, and Ed!

I went on a girls trip with my mom to visit my sister!

I ran in a 5K with Alacia!

I hung out at the East Nashville Tomato Festival with my favorite pooch.

I helped Lindy celebrate the big 3-0!

And Patrick had a summertime bash at his house!

Fall began and lots of fun things were about to take place:

I ran in a 5K on a very cold and rainy Labor Day!

I got dressed up for Jeremy and Jeni's wedding!

I helped Kat celebrate her milestone birthday!

I agreed to marry the man that I believe God hand-picked just for me!

And I did it in front of some of our best friends!

I attended a beer festival at Riverfront Park

After the engagement weekend, the rest of the year was a fun, wonderful, busy blurr.

We celebrated our engagement in Knoxville with some of our closest family and friends!

Then we headed on a relaxing trip to Jamaica 'mon.

Where we hung out at the Jamaican Bobsled Cafe.

Climbed the famous Dunn's River Falls

And enjoyed spending lots of QT together!

After returning from our little weekend trip, there was still plenty of fun to be had!

We dressed up as Fred and Wilma Flintstone for Halloween (and the costumes were homemade)!

We went to a corn maze!

We celebrated our first Halloween with Sweet Zoey!

We got all dolled up for the Junior Chamber's Cigars Under the Stars!

We took in a Titans game.

And hung out with friends at JJ's Wine Bar

We had our first Christmas card photo.

Spent time with friends at a cabin in the Smoky Mountains.

I nervously watched Patrick jump out of a plane.

We showered Zoey with a ridiculous amount of gifts at Christmas!

And finally, we rung in the new year as our own little family!

Yes, 2011 was definitely the best year, yet! But I'm sure there are so many wonderful blessings to come in 2012. I can't wait to find out what's in store!

Well, it seems like this is the week to mark things off the 101 Things list, isn't it? I just love the feeling of accomplishment, and let's face it...if I'm going to get this list done before April 27, 2013, I better keep moving.

Today, I'm marking off the fact that on Sunday, January 1, 2012 (New Year's Day) I didn't leave the house all day. I know this may not seem like a big deal to some, but when I was making my list I realized that I don't know the last time I spent an entire day at home...and obviously it took me a year and a half into the list before I accomplished it!

It was a good day...not a very productive one, as all I did was lay around, watch football and eat, but it was a fun, relaxing, snuggle with my doggy and my beau, kinda day! Maybe I need to do those more often...like sometime in the next 2 years. =)

What I'm Loving Wednesday!

Happy Wednesday everyone! I hope you all are having a wonderful week! Here is what I'm loving today:

1. That my BFF from Knoxville, Andi, is coming to town for a visit this weekend! I can't wait to shop, eat at the Cheesecake Factory, relax, and catch up! This time next year, little Kennedy will be born...I bet the stores we shop in may change soon! =)

2. Rainy Days! I don't know what the weather is like in your neck of the woods, but in Nashville, it is POURING buckets! I just wish that I could lay in bed and cuddle all day...oh, well, maybe one day...

3. That my beau and I have decided to do something a little non-traditional for our "pre-tax season weekend trip." Every since the year we started dating, we have gone on a weekend trip right before tax season got underway...well, this year, instead of driving 2-3 hours and feeling like we have to see all the sights in whatever city we are visiting, we're planning a "staycation." No, it won't be as exciting, but the point is to spend some good quality time together, and this way we can still be home fairly early on that Sunday! Sounds like my kind of trip!

4. That by this time next week, I will have made some pretty big wedding planning decisions, and can let wedding planning be only a small part of my life until post-April 15. It's been a lot of fun, but being the Type-A personality that I am, I love marking items off the ole to do list. Thank goodness I'll get to mark FOUR off at one time!!!!!

5. And, as always, I'm loving these 2 fine creatures!

#49 -- DONE!!!!!

Well, since this is work related (and all of our client information is confidential), this will be a really quick post! However, since I put it on my 101 Things list, I wanted to do a quick post on it. I'm excited to say that I have brought in my very own client at work! This doesn't really mean all that much, but it's very exciting for me because it's a goal that I've had for quite some time! It is a small step in the direction of my career and now I can mark it off my list and begin my focus on even bigger things! Because, after all, I am a constant...

Weekend Update!

How was everyone's weekend? Mine was so much fun...So glad I can have fun this time of year and enjoy every minute of free time I have!

Friday night, I met Kathleen and we drove down to Columbia to meet Anna Catherine! I love spending time with these girls! We always have soooooo much to talk about! It's amazing that 3 people can chat for so long! I didn't even get home until almost 1:00 am! I haven't been out that late in MONTHS! What a fun night!

Saturday morning started pretty early with a meeting with a caterer, and THEN it was time for our engagement pictures! I had been looking forward to this all week! I had also been holding my breath about the weather because I knew that despite the warm temperature, there was also a pretty good chance of rain! Thank goodness the weather was PERFECT! It was in the high 50s, and even though the sun was only out a little bit, when it did come out, I think Will and Laurie were able to take full advantage of it! I can't wait to share the entire portfolio of pictures, but until I have those, I will share a sneak peek that Streetlight Republic posted on Twitter last night:

I LOVE it! It is so Patrick and me, and I can't wait to see the rest!!!!!

After the sun went down and all the pictures were done, we headed to The Flying Saucer for some much needed beer and food! It was so fun hanging out with Laurie and Will and getting to know them better (at least I got to know them better...Patrick knows both of them pretty well from his college days)!

Yesterday morning, my beau made me breakfast in bed (and it was yummy) because he felt sorry for me for having to go volunteer all day at Municipal Auditorium working the concession stand to support the Nashville Junior Chamber. It actually wasn't too bad and went by really fast. After that, it was finally time to relax for the first time this weekend.

Such a fun last few days! I hope all of you have had great ones, too!
